ABOUT EDWARD MILLER, Founder of Gate City Construction

Because of my love for Architecture, I studied Building Construction at Georgia Tech. While attending Tech I was employed by Emory University where I served as an onsite construction representitive for the University. Later I was employed by Barge-Wagener, Inc. where I served as an Assistant Project Manger building three prisons in south Georgia. I later joined Ryland homes, John Wieland Homes and Neighborhoods and lastly Waterford Homes. Serving Waterford Homes for over nine years I became an important part of their field staff, where I mentored younger builders and trained newly hired employees. My goal is to use my knowledge of construction to bring a higher level of service, detail and quality, which both my residential and commercial customers can be proud.

On February 6th, 2009 I formed Gate City Construction LLC as a residential/light commercial builder. The company will specialize in additions, repairs and ground to completion construction. It will also venture into commercial fields, where it will pursue interior buildout and small commercial projects. I hope you all can join me, welcoming this new company to the exciting environment of residential and commercial construction in the state of Georgia and Atlanta, the Gate City to the South.
